There is also a kiosk at Torrequebrada beach for cold drinks
and snacks, so you don't have to go back to the apartment
for food and drinks whilst there is important sun bathing,
sandcastle making and water sports to do!
As well as the beach kiosk there is a cafe and restaurant
5-10 minutes walk from the apartment in the same direction
as the beach. The restaurant is famous amongst the locals
for serving what many believe to be the best paella on the
Costa del Sol, and they travel from afar to sample it. The
prices at the restaurant are low, so you can enjoy fabulous
Spanish food and drinks without breaking the bank.
If you need to stock up on supplies on your self-catering
holiday there is a supermarket only a few minutes walk from
the apartment and a chemists a 15 minutes walk away.
For night time the luxurious Torrequebrada Hotel is also
within a short walk of the apartment. If you fancy a flutter,
head over to the hotel as it has one of only two of the Costa
del Sol's casinos and several restaurants and bars. The casino
offers a wide range of games including Black Jack, American
and French Roulette and slot machines. The dress code is formal
so remember to pack something suitable.
With a wide variety of activities and a relaxed atmosphere,
Torrequebrada is the ideal place for a golf or family holiday
and for those who want somewhere quieter than the larger resorts
of Benalmadena and Fuengirola. If you want your night life
to last till dawn Benalmadena offers a wide range of night
clubs and bars for partying the night away.
Torrequebrada is also within easy reach of many amenities
that make a perfect family holiday or for those young at heart
- the Tivoli World Fun Park amusment park which has a new
cable car ride to the mountain top, 2 water theme parks, the
Sea Life aquarium, the Crocodile Park, Dolphin Safari and
the Wild Bird Sanctuary.
